6 Types of Anchor Texts You Should be Using Today!

Hey, I am back in action today for writing a blog post, sharing a great anchor text diversity pattern to please big G.

You must start using it straight away if you are missing it. I am sure, you would find it awesome.

Anchor Texts:

If you are in SEO you know what does it mean when we say Anchor text. So lets get straight to the point and break down the 6 type of anchor text which we should be using in order to get a great SERP.

Exact Anchor Text:

Exact anchor texts are your main keyword. Normally if you are working in a small niche, You would be having around 3-5 main keyword.

 

Diluted Anchor Texts:

You can take it as long tail keywords as well. For example, if you are main keyword ( Exact Anchor text) is “Article Marketing” then you can have diluted anchor texts as “article marketing USA”, “Top article Marketing provider” and so on…

 

Branded Anchor Texts:

You know what I mean. Your unmistakable SEO deserved anchor texts with your brand name. Branded Anchor texts are important for any Industry when you are serious about SERP.

 

Naked URLs:

With the whirlwind of ever-changing SEO, Its easy to get lost in the crowd. But you have to be bold enough to set a trend and use those Naked URLs more often in your link building strategy.

 

Semantically Relevant Anchor Texts:

Google uses semantic web Indexing now. It means it understand the intent of the searcher and try to get the real meaning of the query.

So to combat it, We use Semantically relevant Anchor texts in your link building. Dont confuse, these keywords with diluted anchor texts.

For example, if your main keyword is ” Article Marketing” . the semantically relevant anchor texts can be “online marketing strategies” which is semantically relevant to your main anchor text.

 

Co-Citation/Co-occurrence:

There’s not a big deal about it.  When two sites are connected without real Link between them, it comes under this.

They can just mention each other name or Link without hyper link . You can read this in depth article about co citation and co occurrence to make it more interesting.
