The latest update of Google Lighthouse has just rolled in. Lighthouse is the technology that backs up Chrome Dev Tools and PageSpeed Insights audit. The Google Lighthouse 8.3.0 Update for bug-fixing concerns increments and improvements are fixing many issues in the previous versions of the open-source application.

Updates to Look Out For
While Google Lighthouse comes with a fleet of many minor changes, fixing bugs and malware detection is the best that the update offers. In addition, Lighthouse is responsible for powering Google production: PageSpeed Insights.

“Fraggle Rock (Lighthouse scripted scenarios) allows a developer to get a Lighthouse report beyond an initial page load. This is valuable as it provides developers with insight into performance & best practices for complex user flows like sign-up, add-to-cart, time-to-tweet, etc.”
The major bug fix in the Google Lighthouse 8.3.0 updates is mainly from the community. Previous versions seemed to have issues with optimizing cached images. The bug increased run-in time and mistakenly deleted cached images.
The Google Lighthouse update is all set to bring an array of great improvements along with the Google 94 update. Both the updates are to be launched on September 21, 2021.
