SEOs on LinkedIn are a funny lot!
I mean, I get it…
It’s okay that you have to write something new, make bold statements, or share some weird facts to get the most reactions and shares…
But sometimes, it’s just downright comical what SEOs share as “iNsIgHtfuL pOsts” on LinkedIn.
And 2023 hasn’t helped it!
With AI and all that stuff into the mix, I can literally feel the mediocreness of thoughts with their chatGPT-ed posts.
Some say SEO is doomed since AI (ahh.. The old ‘SEO is dead’ chant that’s been around since 2014)
Some would call SEO worthless if…
Andddd there’s always something they sell after that particular ‘if’.
I already had it up to here with these SEO Gurus and their sales pitches.
But one guy just tipped me off to the point of absolutely no-nope-never return..
‘Backlinks Don’t Work’ He said..’
I’m sorry, but this has to be The Biggest load of nonsense I’ve heard on LinkedIn this year
I get it when these people say other infactual things about SEO…
But “Backlinks Dont work anymore”
I mean, seriously?
I’ve managed to rank different top-tier websites just in November 2023 solely by winning great backlinks
And you’re telling me backlinks don’t matter?
That’s SEO equivalent of saying like breathing is overrated.
Or like Earth is flat.
Let me be crystal clear: Don’t ever get swayed by such top-level nonsense.
I believe backlinks are the currency of credibility in the online universe. They’re the testimonials.
The nods of approvals.
The secret handshakes among websites.
They’re the lifeline that propels your website up the Everest.
